Louis, a third-generation boiler technician, embarked on his career in boiler maintenance in 1979, initially as a member of the refractory crew. Shortly thereafter, he transitioned to the piping crew, assuming the role of an apprentice.

Entering the industry as a teenager, Louis temporarily paused his journey to follow another family tradition by joining the military, where he coincidentally engaged in static firing of missiles and rockets—remarkably similar to his experiences in the boiler industry.

After completing his military service following high school, Louis returned to New York City to continue his pursuit of a career in the boiler sector. Joining Roy Kay, Inc. as an apprentice pipe fitter, he played a vital role in substantial projects ranging from $1.5 to $25 million, earning a promotion to assistant foreman due to his dedication and proficiency.

In the ensuing years, Louis diversified his expertise by collaborating with various boiler service companies, refining his skills in troubleshooting and job supervision.

In the quest for a better life for his family, Louis made the decision to relocate to North Carolina. Fueled by decades of industry expertise, he took the entrepreneurial leap, establishing his own boiler services company.

Thus, SI Boiler Solutions came into existence, dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality to its esteemed customers.

His guiding principle, “Make the problems go away,” encapsulates the ethos he was taught and strives to live by.
